Loomstate Announces Exclusive New Collection Designed For Surf Icon Joel Tudor

New York City, NY, April 29th — Loomstate will launch a new collection, Loomstate for Joel Tudor…Harmony Amplifier, on May 1, 2008. Developed with and for two-time world champion surfer Joel Tudor, this exclusive capsule collection will be available at select Barneys New York / Men’s CO-OP and at Loomstate shops in American Rag Newport Beach and San Francisco. On May 28th, 2008, Loomstate will officially launch the collection with a special event at American Rag: Newport Beach, CA location.

Loomstate co-founder Scott Mackinlay Hahn explains the Tudor/Loomstate connection: “Joel represents a cultural authenticity that we respect and admire. His style has long been an inspiration to our brand. All of the pieces in the Loomstate for Joel Tudor capsule collection are a nod to Tudor’s well-traveled, yet effortlessly laid-back style. Loomstate is known for utilizing certified organic cotton using socially and environmentally responsible methods of production, and this collection is no exception. Look for ‘60s inspired colorblock surf shorts, ultra-soft tees & hoodies featuring the Harmony Amplifier graphic, plus the Prophecy fit jean in the Harmony wash which was made to simulate a pair of Loomstate jeans that Tudor wore nearly every day for 2 1/2 years.
